Extract years—or year-month prefixes—from ISO date columns in CSV data
Extracts four-digit years from ISO dates in a CSV while retaining source columns. The existing transform can be updated to return year-month values, reset, and recreated without duplicates.
About this Model
A reusable CSV transformation model that extracts date prefixes from an ISO-formatted `date` column. Its default `Years` transform retains the original `event` and `date` columns and adds a `year` column containing the first four characters. A change request can update the same transform to use the first seven characters for year and month. Reset removes generated results while preserving the source CSV and model assets; a subsequent run recreates the clean default transform.
